Álvaro González

With more than three decades leading agricultural commodity operations, Álvaro González has built a solid track record integrating commercial strategy, risk management, and market expansion across Latin America.

As Managing Partner de Granel Corp since 2014, he leads strategic supply chain initiatives for top-tier clients such as Cargill SST, Valero y Greenplains.

He previously served as Vice President at Interstate Commodities and General Manager of Graneles de Chile / AGF Trading, overseeing the marketing and logistics of up to five million metric tons per year. His career also includes roles at Cargill Inc. in structured finance and risk management, and at Continental Grain as Regional Marketing Manager for Latin America.

He is an MBA from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin.
